Psychological Support Centers
Zavtra Project exists to provide psychological, emotional, and developmental support to children affected by the war in Ukraine, helping them to recover from trauma, regain a sense of safety, and build brighter futures. Through education, rehabilitation, and the development of inclusive infrastructure, Zavtra Project aims to restore hope and foster resilience for Ukraine’s youngest survivors of this unprovoked aggression.
We aim to provide professional psychological support to children affected by the war. Zavtra Project will collaborate with three Ukrainian universities to open centers in Odesa, Chernivtsi, and Zaporizhzhia and support the existing center in Berehove.
Key activities:
Training & Development:
Graduate students from partner universities will be trained in trauma-informed care, providing them with hands-on experience while offering psychological support to children.
Services:
Provide individual counseling, group therapy, art therapy, and play therapy to children. Include services for families to help address secondary trauma.
Infrastructure & Resources:
Establish therapeutic spaces in collaboration with universities in Odesa, Chernivtsi, and Zaporizhzhia, providing necessary facilities, materials, and safe environments. Enhance existing facility in Berehove as needed.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Implement a system to track the effectiveness of the psychological support being provided, adjusting as needed for improved outcomes.
Partnerships:
Partner Universities:
Leverage academic expertise from partner institutions to create a robust framework for psychological care and practical training for students.
Local Healthcare Providers:
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support, addressing both psychological and physical impacts of trauma.
