Let's get ready for winter!
Today, thousands of young mothers in Ukraine are forced to care for their babies under the conditions of war, constant missile attacks, and power and water outages.
When Russian attacks destroy energy infrastructure, entire neighborhoods are left without electricity, heating, and water for many hours — and sometimes for several days. This winter, some communities lived without proper conditions for several months.
For adults, this is extremely difficult.
For mothers with infants, it can become a matter of life and death.
Imagine a young mother trying to keep her baby warm during winter while air raid sirens sound outside — without heat, without hot water, without a proper place to change her baby, or even a safe space to care for her child.
That is why Ukrainian NGO "Moreve" with Zavtra Project creating “Zatyshno” — free inclusive spaces of care for mothers, children, and people who especially need support during the war.
Each complex includes:• warm and safe restrooms• a mother-and-child room• access to water and hygiene• inclusive facilities for people with disabilities• a safe indoor space during blackouts and emergency situations
This is not about comfort or luxury.
It is about basic conditions for survival, human dignity, and the protection of children during war.
Especially during the cold season, such spaces can literally save babies' lives.
Our first goal is to build the first “Zatyshno” complexes in Kyiv and later expand them throughout Ukraine in places where thousands of families pass every day.
To complete the first two complexes before the next cold season, we need to raise $365,000.
Ukrainian mothers continue to stay strong every day for their children.
